The Borough currently has vacancies in both the Board of Adjustment and Recreation Committee.  Any resident who would like to be considered for these volunteer positions are encouraged to submit an application.  The application can be obtained at the Borough Clerk’s Office, or the Borough’s website at http://www.washingtonboro-nj.org/borough-volunteer-form.html.

The Highlands Health Van is an eco-friendly van travel that travels to Warren and Hunterdon Counties.  It has a medical staff on board that provides basic medical assistance for low-income and uninsured residents with limited transportation options.  It's goal is to reduce emergency room visits. The dates have been posted on the calendar.

Congratulations to the Washington Borough Sewer Plant/Veolia Water for winning a second place Municipal Opex Award! This is second place out of 300 regional Veolia Water/Sewer Plants given for safety, ingenuity, and community service. Congratulations again to our sewer plant employees!
