Sheldon honored by NJSBDC

James Sheldon, Executive Director of the Washington Business Improvement District and owner of Washington Camera Headquarters in Washington, was among a select group of business people from around the state who was honored by the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers at a gala luncheon at the PNC Arts Center earlier this month.

Sheldon was nominated for the award by the Skylands Small Business Development Center located at Warren County Community College and serving Warren, Sussex, Morris and Hunterdon counties.

The event paid special tribute to those individuals who have worked with the NJSBDC and to extend gratitude to key state legislators and partners who support and are committed to the mission of the NJSBDC.

Sheldon, who has owned Washington Camera Headquarters for several years, has been the Executive Director of the WBID for the past two years.

“I am very proud and honored to receive this award,” said Sheldon. “The NJSBDC offers an extremely important role to small businesses seeking guidance. The organization has been very helpful to me as a business owner and as a resource for the WBID.”
